This year we are going to offer a 5 week Basketball practice with games along with Cheerleading to be played all on one day, Saturdays, starting January 2. This will allow us to adhere to the health and safety protocols set forth by the St. Louis County Health Department.

Our plan is to provide a coed Basketball and Cheerleading in the manner listed below, but will be finalized later in December once we see the registration numbers. Typically in the past we have had to combine 6th through 12th grade basketball players because of the low registration numbers. Should we be able to add more players in this group we will divide them up accordingly.

The cost for this year will be $50.00 per player. Each player will receive a T-shirt, a water bottle, a basketball, and a pinnie to wear during the games.
We will start at 8am and run through 4:30pm on Saturdays with a rotating schedule. Each age group will be allowed 90 minutes total to have practice, a game, and the post game wrap up with devotion. This will be a pick up style play, meaning each week the coaches will split the players up into two teams and they will then play their game as normal.

3rd – 5th grade
6th – 12th grade

The cost for this year will be $50.00 per Cheerleader. Each girl will receive a T-shirt, a water bottle, a mega phone, and poms.

At Fellowship of Wildwood, we believe it is important to connect with the next generation and give them a positive environment for them to learn, stay active, and have fun. Through our Upward Sports programs, kids can do just that.

Upward Soccer and Upward Basketball with Cheerleading provides a fun environment, built around healthy competition, while creating a positive experience. Our focus will be on teaching the skill set for each of those sports, along with teaching the children important values for life, and the great news that Jesus loves each and every one of them.

As host of the league, Fellowship of Wildwood will provide a first class organized league that your entire family will enjoy. It will start with an evaluation of every player to help create the best chance of having balanced teams and will conclude with a fun and exciting Award Ceremony at the end of the season. Every participant will feel like a pro when they receive a quality uniform, have their names announced at the start of every game, and a guarantee of equal play time every game.
